On Indonesia's second largest island, Sumatra's rich soil makes for the perfect coffee-growing conditions. Grown in the shady slopes of Mount Leuser, the Sumatra Mandheling coffee bean is born in the most mineral-rich land available in the world––volcanic soil.

This medium bodied coffee has a bright acidity and the typical earthiness that is a hallmark of this region. Herbal notes with citrus undertones are pleasingly light with a pleasant roast character.
